I briefly played “Captain Scott” On This Day in 2009 during a rafting trip down the Colorado River through McInnis Canyon NCA in western Colorado. It was my first multi-day river trip, and boy was it a ton of fun.

Most of you here probably use some form of text replacement, but many of my friends do not. So I wrote this primarily for them, but maybe there’s a use-case in here that’s helpful (please share yours with me too).
