We visited the remains of the B70 Internment Camp in New Brunswick, which housed Jewish refugees that had fled to England during WWII.
While we’re very familiar with the US Japanese internments—we’ve visited all the camps—we didn’t know anything about Jewish refugee transfers. t.co/IRJDzOat3…

@Wexplorations I originally visited in 2016 just prior to its designation, and I had to contact the campaign just to get any sort of usable map of the rough gravel roads. It feels like a poorly funded BLM national monument in terms of visitor info and access; eg, you’re mostly on your own. -S
@Wexplorations No real facilities & loop road’s closed for logging. Some recently added contact stations in area. Baxter SP is popular—it’s adjacent, but not convenient. This is a park that’s very hard to visit well, esp if you have a rental car. We’ll come back again when we can really do more
