Finally made it to the infamous Desert Bar
Finally made it to the last place listed in the world atlas. β with Jen Jones in Zzyzx, CA #fb

Just checking off my 281st National Park unit, the recently designated Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument just north of Vegas. #fb
Explored the ruins of Camp Bouse, General Patton’s secret tank testing ground within the WWII Desert Training Center in western Arizona. Not a lot left out there, but still fun to wander around. More pics coming. #fb

Today, I stopped in for a beer at Somewhere Arizona.

…versus the vehicle barrier along the border off of South Puerto Blanco Drive near Quintobaquito.
The border fence near the city…
Boundary marker at the US-Mexican border, in the desert near the Dos Lomitas Ranch ruins site.
Last light illuminates a cloud over Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.
Raise your hand if you knew there were ruins of a major War Relocation Camp (WWII Japanese Internment Camp) in the desert just south of Phoenix. I stopped by the ruins yesterday…wow, what a story to be better told.

Enjoying a Red Wings win!
#fb comment from Michelle Bresnahan:
That dude behind you is subtly pleased about being in your photo.
And my reply:
We framed it so that the red wing logo would be in the shot. He had to shift a bit to make it so.
Word.
Finally made it up to the golf ball on Humboldt Mountain. Great view from up there.
