Got to tour JFK’s birthplace in spite of it being closed for the season (notice the sign below my elbow). That makes park unit #299 on my quest to visit them all, and the third today on #MyNationalParksMonth!
No better way to celebrate the National Parks centennial than to visit the home and studio of Frederick Law Olmstead, who helped pioneer the national park idea, and that of his son, who wrote the mission for the National Parks' Organic Act.
